Privacy Policy

Calculations happen in your browser
The primer Tm calculator runs entirely client-side in your web browser. DNA sequences you enter are processed locally by JavaScript on your device. They are never transmitted to our servers, never stored in a database, and never shared with third parties, because there is no server-side component that receives them.
What we do not collect
- Primer sequences: never sent to a server, never stored, never logged.
- Accounts: no registration exists, so no account data is collected.
- Unnecessary cookies: the site does not set tracking or advertising cookies for its core functionality.
What may be collected
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record basic, aggregated technical logs (such as requested pages and timestamps) for security and reliability. If privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics are added in the future, they will be configured to avoid collecting personal data, and this policy will be updated to describe them.
Contact form
The contact form opens your own email application with a pre-addressed message. The content of that message goes directly to the displayed email address through your email provider; we do not intercept or store form submissions on this website.
Third parties and advertising
The layout reserves space where advertisements could appear in the future. If advertising is ever introduced, this policy will be updated to explain what data, if any, advertising providers collect. No advertising network code is currently loaded.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
